How do I create a .zip archive?
A .zip archive allows you to group one or more folders or a large collection of files into a single file that can easily be sent via Slingshot.

To create a .zip archive on a Windows PC, select all the files you wish to send or the folder that contains them, right-click on the selection and choose "WinZip -> Add to Zip File..." or "Add to Archive...". If you do not have these options, please contact your local I.T. support group to have the WinZip software installed.

Mac users can create a .zip archive by selectings all the files you wish to send or the folder that contains them, right-click (or hold down "Control" and click) and choose "Create Archive of ...".
