Who created Slingshot?
Slingshot was created independently by a small team of developers and designers at Walt Disney Imagineering's Research & Development group in Glendale, CA. Portions of the software are based on the "Large File Transfer Project" initiated by WDI R&D in 2003.

Although initially intended for use internally within WDI R&D, in just a few short months Slingshot was adpoted by thousands of Disney employees and vendors worldwide.

Slingshot is now maintained by a team at Disney Entertainment Television Marketing Technology.
