Can I view a file without downloading it?
Many files can be viewed or listened to directly in your browser by clicking the View or Listen button on the File Pickup page.

The following file types are supported for inline preview:

• Audio: mp3, wav, aac
• Images: png, jpeg, svg, and most common image formats (not tga)
• Video: mp4, m4v (and .mov in Safari)
• PDF documents

For other file types, you will need to download the file and open it locally using the appropriate application.
Note: Whenever you view any web page online, your computer temporarily stores all of the text and media associated with that page locally on your computer. These "temporary files" aren't usually visible to you but are necessary to view the content of the page. These files are often deleted when you close your browser or after some pre-set time determined by your web browser's preferences. This behavior is specific to your web browser and is outside the scope of Slingshot.
