What is the one time download feature?
The one time download feature is intended for those who want the most security that they can get by only allowing one person to download each file only once. Once the file is downloaded it is immediately and permanently deleted from Slingshot. After downloading a file, if a person does forward the Slingshot email to another person, that person will not be able to download the file.

One thing to keep in mind is that Slingshot does not prevent you from sending a file to multiple people with the single download box checked but the result is that the first person to download the file will be successful but everyone else will be blocked from downloading the files for it will have been deleted. This feature is intended to be sent to one person and one download only. There maybe a reason to send the email to many people but be aware of the result.

For added protection you may want to use the password feature in conjunction with this feature.
